Valhalla Presents A Night of Mead, Cheese & Candlelight – Friday 17th February 2023

Our Delivery & Returns policy

Mead has, for Millennia, been considered The Drink of the Gods and if you want to get to know its history, how it’s made and try some of the best in the land we have a great night for you lined up!

Bruno will be running the show. From Araucaria Fine Foods Bruno is based just outside of York. Born and raised in Brazil Bruno learnt his craft from a long family line of beekeepers going back generations.

Bruno is a beekeeper and is trustee of the York & District Beekeepers Association and a member of the British Beekeepers Association. He makes all his meads the traditional way, completely natural, sulphite free and exactly as nature intended.

If you join us there will be 5 of Bruno’s meads to sample, along with cheese boards consisting of some of the best sourced cheeses, home baked bread, fruit, and chutney.

Bruno will give an Introduction into How Mead is Made, a bit about his Journey into Mead Making and discuss the history of Mead. This will be accompanied by tastings and a Q&A session.

The event will take place in AllFather Hall in Valhalla on Friday 17th February at 18:30 – 20:30 (approximately). Places are limited to just 25 Spaces and the event is bookable through our website in advance only.
